Inclusive Expert

At Kinder Castle Nursery, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. As a nursery manager, I am proud to share that our setting is supported by a qualified Inclusion Expert (SEN Specialist) who works closely with children, families, and educators to ensure every child receives the care, understanding, and support they deserve.

Our Inclusion Expert is SEN-qualified and experienced in supporting children of determination and those with additional learning, developmental, or social-emotional needs. Through early identification, observation, and ongoing assessment, we ensure that each child’s strengths are recognized and their challenges are addressed with sensitivity and professionalism.

We develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs, goals, and learning style. These plans are reviewed regularly and implemented through adapted classroom strategies, targeted interventions, and differentiated learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework. Our approach promotes confidence, independence, communication, and emotional well-being.

Strong collaboration is key to successful inclusion. Our Inclusion Expert works closely with parents, teachers, and external specialists such as therapists to maintain clear communication and consistent support between home and nursery. Families are fully involved in the process, ensuring transparency, trust, and shared progress.
