Our FS1 Program is designed to prepare children for a confident and successful start to their formal learning journey. At Kinder Castle Nursery, we provide a structured yet nurturing environment where children develop essential early academic skills while still enjoying the freedom to explore, imagine, and express themselves.
What We Offer:
Foundation Stage (FS1): Our FS1 Program introduces children to early literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills through engaging, hands-on activities. Learning is play-based, ensuring children stay motivated and excited about discovering new concepts.
Early Literacy Development: Children begin recognizing letters, sounds, and simple words through storytelling, phonics activities, interactive reading sessions, and language-rich play.
Early Numeracy and Problem-Solving: Through counting games, number recognition, shapes, patterns, and simple logic tasks, children build strong foundations in mathematical thinking.
Social and Emotional Skills: FS1 learners develop confidence, independence, and teamwork skills. They learn to follow routines, build friendships, manage emotions, and express themselves respectfully.
Creative and Imaginative Learning: Art, music, role play, and creative projects allow children to express ideas freely, fostering imagination and boosting self-confidence.
Physical Development Outdoor play, movement activities, coordination exercises, and fine motor tasks help children enhance balance, strength, agility, and hand–eye coordination.
Communication and Language Growth: Children participate in group discussions, circle time, story sessions, and show-and-tell activities, building vocabulary, confidence, and expressive language.
Inquiry and Exploration: Science and discovery activities encourage children to ask questions, explore materials, experiment, and develop early problem-solving skills.
